Founded in 2006 by Makoto Onohara.

Participated in Japan Fashion Week from the 08-09 A/W collection.
July 2010: Participated in IIJW (Indian Jewelry Collection) held in India.
November 2010: Invited to present collection at AURORA FASHION WEEK in Russia.
In 2010, he was selected as one of the 10 finalists to win an award* at the world's largest fashion contest, "MANGO Fashion," and his collection was shown in Barcelona.
The world's largest contest, hosted by the major Spanish apparel company Mango, is held every two years, with last year being the third time.

He entered Mejiro Design College in 2000 and graduated in 2002.

He then moved to the UK and enrolled in the London College of Fashion Foundation, graduating with honors.

In 2003, he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

He was scouted by Bora AKSU and dropped out of school.

He worked as the chief pattern maker for Boraak and was active in London Collections and other events.

In 2006, he returned to Japan and founded the brand "Motonari Ono", which bears his name.

In 2009, the 2009 A/W season collection was presented at the Tokyo Collection.

In 2010, she was selected as a finalist in the world's largest fashion contest, the MANGO Fashion Awards.

He also works as a freelance pattern maker and illustrator, and has worked on advertising designs for Mary Quant.
